Congress notes BFAWU’s call for £10 per hour for all workers regardless of age was originally made back in 2014 and didn’t pick up pace until 2017. If we take into account inflation between then and now as well as the rising cost of living, £10 per hour is drastically behind where we need to be.

We need to ensure that working people are able to live and not simply survive, therefore Congress asks the General Council to join BFAWU in changing its call to £15 per hour for all workers regardless of age.
